Featuring 250g of succulent dates, a tablespoon of cocoa and 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds, this cake transforms into a genuine delight that supports your well-being. Recipe for a delicious and nutritious date cake

Ingredients:
  • 250g dates
  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
  • 300ml oat or other plant-based milk
  • 200ml coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon molasses sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 200g spelt white flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions:
  1. In a saucepan, combine dates and milk, cooking for 5 minutes until dates soften. Blend with a hand blender or food processor and let it cool to lukewarm.
  2. Add melted coconut oil and all other ingredients, then mix well.
  3. Coat the baking mold with coconut oil, lightly dust with flour and pour the mixture into it.
  4. Bake for around 40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
  5. Once done, remove the cake from the mold and let it cool before cutting.
